Oh I Wish...

On the way downtown for the Ghost Tour we drove by the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. John had never seen it except in pictures, so we had to stop and take a few of our own!

Spooky

Last night we went to the Ghosts of the Capital Tour. The weather was perfect for it. We both had a great time. We learned that one of the reasons the Hard Rock Cafe closed was due to a ghost! (probably not the main reason, but a reason none the less!) The tour guide was quite entertaining. The tour ended at the Driskill Hotel for the Grand Finale. We were told of several ghosts that still reside there. We took a picture of the painting of the original owner/builder of the hotel and I think there is something mysterious in the photo! A couple other photos we took don't
show the little light orb! It must have been the Ghost! We stopped for ice cream on the way home and the night was complete!

Flower Power

John had these plants in pots that he brought with him when he moved over here (probably about 4 years ago now) They have always had green leaves growing up out of them, but that's all. I was not a fan of them because they weren't very exciting, and John never took care of them. He told me they were iris' which I love, so I never got around to throwing them out. Finally this spring we put the pots up on our new deck and VIOLA we have flowers!! They are very beautiful and they just keep blooming more and more! This may just be the ONLY time John will be able to say "I told you so."

Here We Go!

OK! Let's see how long I can keep up with this before I get bored with it!

Here are a few thing going on with us lately...

The new BIG tv has arrived!

John is very excited! I must admit, I like it too. I have even moved the exercise bike into the living room, with the intentions of riding and watching at the same time! (We'll see how that goes)

Our cat Skinny had to have stitches last week after she got some sort of bite or tear in her skin under her tail =( Poor thing has to wear an e-collar for a while. Notice how excited about that she is!
